Who Am I
“our products are a representation of family and our inspiration is deeply rooted in Samoa.”
Aunty Tommy's is named after founder Marlon Rivers’ grandmother Flora Constance (Tommy) Burr a Samoan matriarch and passionate advocate of Samoan culture, including its diverse and unique cuisine and the communal nature of sharing food and drink. Koko Samoa is a healthy, sugar free traditional Samoan drink made wholly from roasted and ground cacao beans. It is also considered the national drink of Samoa and is a staple in most households and produce markets both in Samoa, and wherever Samoans gather around the world. Marlon sees Aunty Tommy’s as a proudly Pacific global brand that passionately embodies the excellence and innovation that resides in abundance in our communities. Marlon also recognises that having exemplars of Pacific success in enterprise is important for current and future generations of Pacific islanders to inspire them to be courageous and follow their own paths to commercial success. Representation matters!
