Who Am I
“born in Fiji, made with love, shared with the world”
Coco Love is a labour of love born from the islands of Fiji, Co-Founded by Māori (Ngāpuhi) and Pacific creator Lee Wharerau (of Fijian, Samoan, Tongan, and Tahitian heritage) and her business partner Rebekah Atkins. What began as a desire to capture the pure essence of the Pacific has grown into a premium skin and body care brand rooted in authenticity, community care, and sustainable practice.
At the heart of the collection is their signature virgin coconut oil, made from organic coconuts sustainably farmed on the fertile soils of Taveuni Island, Fiji, often called the "Garden Island." Unlike mass-produced oils, Coco Love uses a gentle steaming process to extract the oil, ensuring purity without compromising the natural nutrients that make coconut oil a generations-old Pacific beauty secret. The result is a silky, multi-purpose oil that is safe and gentle enough for baby's delicate skin, yet deeply nourishing for the whole family.
Coco Love's oils are extracted from sustainably and ethically farmed coconuts, supporting both environmental health and wellbeing of local farming communities. The brand's commitment extends beyond the product itself to ensuring that a portion of profits is returned directly to Fijian villages, funding supplies for local schools and nursing stations. Every purchase becomes part of a cycle of care that honours the people and places behind the oil.
For Lee and Rebekah, Coco Love is more than a product, it is an invitation to experience the nurturing spirit of the Pacific. Each jar carries the warmth of Fijian community, the wisdom of traditional practices, and a modern commitment to ethical luxury. When you choose Coco Love, you are not only caring for your own skin but also supporting sustainable livelihoods and preserving island ways of life for future generations.
