Who Am I
“Lalaga means to weave. I love how sharing stories has the power weave people together .”
Samoan producer, film-maker and community activist Torisse Laulu is passionate about creating safe spaces for sharing stories and connection. Over the last decade Torisse has led talanoa sessions to foster courageous conversations and create empathy. This led her to explore talanoa as a means of creating space for meaningful conversations and connection for all people. Torisse spent 2 years developing Lalanga through research and deep consultation with Pacific cultural knowledge-holders. The result is not just a game but a way to bring people together and share their truths and deepen their connection with each other. Lalaga has 5 levels of varying depths of questions and prompts that give players flexibility to customise conversations that nurture relational spaces of genuine connection.
