Through her apiary, Kaai now produces award-winning organic freeze-dried and special reserve honey. The benefits of Tarahina honey are currently the subject of scientific research in New Zealand. Kaai is also leading the development of the local honey industry in the Chatham Islands together with family and friends they seek to ensure a disease-free sanctuary for our bees.
