Based on Waiheke Island Timmy Smith creates jewellery that invites the wearer to take a moment to consider the memory or moment in time imbued in each piece. Through her jewellery Timmy aims to honour people, place and purpose. She wants her pieces to encourage people to stop and take time for themselves and others and contemplate their place in the larger scheme of things. Each piece intentionally designed to connect people to place and each other as well as being grounded in Kaitiakitanga or the practice of guardianship and protection for the natural world. Designed and created by Timmy Smith on Waiheke Island, Aotearoa, New Zealand.Timmy uses Sterling Silver and 24k electroplated gold to create her unique and beautiful jewellery.
