Material and Craft

Cast in resin and finished by hand, Mihimihi has a translucent quality that allows light to move through the form, revealing depth, pattern, and subtle tonal variation. Pāua shell inlay adds natural iridescence, creating contrast and drawing the eye to the expression of the piece.
