Material and Craft
Cast in resin and finished by hand, Rongomatāne reveals depth, detail, and luminosity through its translucent surface. As light moves through the piece, it enhances the contours and surface patterning, bringing different qualities of the work forward throughout the day.
Pāua shell inlay adds an iridescent accent, creating contrast and drawing focus to the expression of the piece.
