Tupu, in Cook Islands Māori, speaks to growth, development, and the act of emerging — whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Each piece reflects this through layered, repeating motifs that echo natural patterns of expansion and progression.

Created using gel and paint pen on paper, these works sit within a circular composition, symbolising continuity and the cyclical nature of growth. Individually, each work holds its own presence. Together, they form a considered triptych — a quiet but powerful expression of movement and transformation.
