Fatafata is one of the five designs featured in the 'Tino/Body' series, showcasing motifs that are prominent throughout the Pacific, particularly in Samoa. A series I created to symbolise the strength and significance of various body parts.
This particular design reflects the chest, drawing parallels to the intricate strands or fibers of this vital area (The home of the heart).
