Uenuku

Uenuku by Messini Palace is a contemporary resin sculpture that brings together strong form, luminous colour, and expressive detail. Material and Craft

Cast in resin and finished by hand, Uenuku has a translucent quality that allows light to move through the form, revealing depth, detail, and subtle shifts in tone. The surface patterning and facial expression create a strong sculptural presence, while pāua shell inlay adds iridescence and contrast.

Each piece is individually finished, giving it a sense of character and variation while maintaining the clarity of the overall form.
